Arizona Super Bowl 2023: Best Places to Watch The Game & Celebrate in Glendale & Scottsdale

This is the biggest thing that has happened to Arizona since becoming the sun’s favorite child… Super Bowl 2023 is coming to Glendale.

I know, I know. It still feels surreal. But this monumental occasion is coming up fast and will be here in the blink of an eye. Over 60,000 stadium seats will be filled for this event, and even more are coming to enjoy the party. That’s a lot of people to compete with for hotel, restaurant and event reservations.

If you are trying to make the most of your Super Bowl in Arizona, now is the time to nail down your plans! Whether you are visiting town for the event or are a local looking to get involved in all the fun, getting your party secured and on the books now will be your ticket to the best Super Bowl 2023 celebration ever.

Here is everything to have on your radar for Super Bowl 2023 in Arizona!

Best Bars in Glendale To Watch Superbowl 2023

Glendale Superbowl Party - Yard House

Didn’t land a ticket inside the stadium? A Glendale bar viewing party may be the next best thing. These bars not only allow but welcome the raucous celebration of watching your favorite team fighting for the title just minutes away.

Yard House – with 100+ beers on tap, we can think of 100+ reasons to watch the Super Bowl from the Yard House. On top of that, being just minutes from the stadium, you can most likely hear the stadium cheers live as you watch the game.

The Nest Sports Grill AZ – a classic neighborhood watering hold, this sports bar and grill has the casual, rowdy atmosphere you crave when watching a close football game.

McFadden’s Restaurant and Saloon – With TVs for both indoor and outdoor seating, you can pick your poison for your Super Bowl 2023 viewing experience. Not to mention the delicious food and cold drinks that keep you going through all four quarters.

Planning your Weekend Activities for Super Bowl 2023

Superbowl Pre-Game Party in Arizona on Arizona Party Bike

What to Do

The Super Bowl is the main event, but mixing in some other activities throughout the week will keep the party going strong and build anticipation for Super Bowl Sunday. The biggest day of the year deserves a party just as exciting – exploring the Old Town party scene on a pedal pub crawl fits that bill.

Arizona Party Bike pedal bar crawls take a group of 14 (and if you have more, you can rent multiple bikes!) to the best sports bars in Scottsdale. Your group can choose between watching one of several screens playing pregame content at Boondocks, or sitting on the rooftop patio at the Rockbar. If you’re in AZ for the game, this is the perfect way to get to know the best nightlife in the area. If you’re a Scottsdale local through and through, there’s no better way to turn your standard bar crawl into a party to remember.

Whether you’re planning a pregame or want to keep the party going after the last whistle blows, we HIGHLY recommend booking your party bike early. We are preparing for this weekend to be booked weeks or even months in advance, so secure your spot ASAP!

Where to Eat

If you’re staying in Scottsdale, dinner in Old Town is hard to get wrong. But wherever you go, make sure to get reservations early! This will be one of the busiest weeks of the year in Scottsdale, so landing dinner reservations gets harder and harder the later you wait – let alone rolling up without one.

Sometimes after a game, all you want is a great burger. When that craving hits, head to Social Tap for easy and delicious American food and great cocktails. For an excellent post-game steak and a glass of scotch, check out Bourbon and Bones. If you’re craving flavorful Mexican, Diego Pops or Old Town Tortilla Factory will satisfy you.

Where to Stay

The game may be in Glendale, but the party is in Scottsdale. Regardless of your group size or plans, we always recommend keeping your accommodations as close to Old Town as possible! You’ll be within walking distance of many restaurants, bars, and excitement.

The Saguaro is the way to go for a great location and great-looking atmosphere. The Fairmont Princess is also a great option that has six different pools to explore when you’re not glued to the TV or your stadium seat. And the best choice of all (if you can rent one early enough) is booking a vacation rental with pool tables, excellent outdoor arrangements, and big enough digs for large groups to stay together.
